Find characters by map area
Start with the NPC name, then check the listed area and nearby route marker. Heartop location notes are designed for planning, not as official live coordinates, so Player-reported and Needs re-check markers should be confirmed in-game before a long trip.
Search by NPC name
Use the map search instead of scanning every marker.
Check the status label
A location marked Needs re-check may change after updates or still need stronger proof.
Build one short character route
Group NPCs who appear in the same town, coast, forest, or activity area. Pair those stops with nearby shops and checklist tasks so a friendship run fits naturally into the rest of the session.
Town loop
Combine nearby NPCs, shops, and gift stops before leaving the area.
Coast or forest loop
Add fishing or gathering only when it is already close to the character route.
Check gifts before visiting
Open the NPC gift guide before spending rare ingredients or crafting materials. Bring replaceable beginner gifts for uncertain rows, keep first copies of unfamiliar items, and treat loved-gift reports as test candidates unless the evidence is strong.
Help improve a location
A useful correction includes the NPC name, area, nearby landmark, date, game version, and a clear screenshot if available. Exact context helps distinguish a moved character from a route note that was simply too broad.
Correction policy
Heartop avoids fake certainty. If a code, route, event, item, or gift note changes, use the correction links so the page can stay useful.
