Heartopia Bird Poses and Star Rating Guide
Players get frustrated with bird photos because the game is not just asking you to find the bird. You also need distance, timing, pose, weather, and a clean frame.
How to improve star rating
Distance
Do not stand on top of the bird. Use zoom and stop before it notices you.
Pose
Take one safe photo, then wait for a clearer side or action pose if the bird stays calm.
Weather
Rainy, rainbow, cloudy, and clear windows can change which birds are worth chasing.
Bird info card rules
Keep high-star Bird Info Cards and new bird cards. Before selling a pile of duplicates, check Bailey J and your bird collection progress. Low-star duplicates are usually the safest cards to clear first.
Do not chase every bird at once: pick one weather window, one area, and one target group. That is how this becomes less annoying.
