System guide

Heartopia hobbies unlock order and what to focus on first.

This is the page I would keep open while progressing DG levels. It keeps the hobby systems separate, so you know when to fish, when to cook, when to chase birds, and when pets actually become worth planning around.

Best hobby order for most players

1. FishingTutorial hobby, easy collection rows and early money checks.
2. GardeningTutorial hobby, supports crops, flowers, cooking, and daily tasks.
3. CookingStrong profit and stamina value once unlocked.
4. Insects or BirdsPick based on current weather and collection mood.
5. PetsPlan cats and dogs after the Mrs. Joan unlock path.
Player note: cooking is usually the first serious "money check" hobby. Do not cook rare fish or crops blindly; compare the ingredient use first.

What each hobby is good for

If you only have a short session

  1. Check codes and notices first. Free rewards affect what you should craft, cook, or save.
  2. Look at current weather. Let weather choose the hobby route instead of forcing a bad target.
  3. Pick one hobby only. Fish, garden, catch bugs, photograph birds, cook, or care for pets.
  4. Save one new item. Keep unfamiliar fish, insects, birds, flowers, recipes, or pet items until checked.
  5. Update one note. If you discover a new condition, add it through the community tip page.
