Heartopia Insect Locations and Attractor Guide
Bug hunting is best when you match location, weather, and time instead of swinging the net everywhere. This page is for rare bugs, insect locations, and when an attractor is worth using.
Attractor rule
Use an insect attractor only when the rare bug you want can actually spawn in the current time and weather. If the target is a night forest bug, do not waste supplies during a clear afternoon meadow route.
| Route | Good for | Player note |
|---|---|---|
| Clear morning flower field | Butterflies, bees, flower bugs | Good starter route before harder bugs. |
| Night forest | Beetles, moths, rare bugs | Best place to use careful movement. |
| Rainy meadow or forest | Snails, pill bugs, wet-weather insects | Switch route when weather changes. |
| Pond afternoon | Dragonflies and water bugs | Stack with fishing or foraging. |
Human tip: slow down before rare bugs. Many misses happen because players sprint into the spawn and scare it off before they even aim.
